I do this type of backup about every 6-9 months. With it i clone my C drive with another HD.
i do have and extra HD i use along with an Aleratec copy device. i dont use system backup or restore on this computer. I have checked my windows 7 system in hope maybe something is wrong with the OS but can not find anything to my knowledge.
Well, i am just about ready to throw the towel in with powerdirector. One more thing happens is i can not update PD13 Im stuck at version. after PD13 starts up with the internet connected then it works fine AND i can disconnect the internet and pd 13 still runs fine until i close it and need to reopen again i have to make sure the internet is on. PD13 Ultimate still does NOT run without the internet connected. Since my last post and with the help of a member here, I have the activation problem resolved but thats all.
